I predict Arsenal to scrape past Anderlecht again, Liverpool to get hammered again, City & Chelsea to win comfortably......you heard it here first!

Tonight will be interesting to see how Rodgers approaches this in terms of players and tactics. Try the same as at home or just try to not get ruined but still get ruined. Think it will show a lot about his character.
 
I would have a guess he will go in to tonight's game with damage control at the up most important with a keen eye on Saturdays game against Chelsea being more important? Maybe?
 
Not sure how to play it tonight maybe we should just park bus and attempt to hold onto 0-0 and nick a point, Then again either way i can see them scoring very easily :(

Rodgers resting Gerrard is a good idea if true but it should have been done weeks ago, Sterling the same.

Ill only be happy if we least put up a fight and try get a result if we go attempt nothing and roll over and show no character or fight is when its disgusting.

Not sure why the Chelsea game is more important than tonight's tbh.

Possibly Liverpool are thinking 4th place perhaps? Don't see it personally.
 
RM to score 6 tonight and Ronny bag a hat trick.

I am even tempted to put down a cheeky bet. I can't see parking the bus is going to do Liverpool any good tonight.

it makes sense but if i was a liverpool fan, i'd want to see the strongest team fielded for a more competitive show. it's not like they're gonna be playing RM again anytime soon.

We did minus Studge /Sakho/Manquillo already, they did good for 20 minutes and then got done by a great goal and conceeded two Liverpool goals, won't be different tonight without Studge as everyone else was gash at shooting against Madrid (and everyone else)
 
Gerrard, Henderson, Sterling and Balotelli all rested tonight. With us not needing anything today (providing we win our last 2) it's clear we're resting most of the side that'll start on Saturday.

Sturridge hasn't even made the bench which begs the question why he travelled to Madrid if he wasn't going to feature in any capacity.
