UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL ... Bayern Munich v Chelsea ... *** Spoilers ***

If Chelsea can stop robben then a victory is a really possibility. Ribery hasnt looked great in the CL games i've seen so that should limit the problems of the 'shock and awe' tactics.
 
I'll be supporting Chelsea, but I expect a Bayern win.

The rule about replacing the 4th finishing team is stupid. A bit harsh on the team who have grafted for 38 games. They should find a way to fit both in... i.e. 3rd finishers go in to the play-offs rather than automatic promotion.

I do think the winners should be there to defend the trophy though, so they get automatic qualification.

Still going for a Bayern win although they lost to Dortmund pretty badly last week but i still reckon they will win the CL plus they have home ground advantage.

Will be epic to see Abramovich's face after losing the final and not having CL football next season...just desserts for a power mad owner.
 
As a Spurs fan I am obviously cheering on the Germans. But I am resigning myself to Chelsea winning to soften the blow in the event that they do. I do think Bayern will probably sneak it, but Chesea have won against the odds a few times already in the Champions league already so you never know.
 
I was almost sick before the Man.U. final in Moscow and couldn't enjoy it as I thought we actually had a chance of winning, it's completely different this time round though, I'm much more relaxed about it.
We'll miss Terry & Ramires massively and Ivanovic being out means Bosingwa at RB, that's never a good thing.
Even if Cahill & Luiz make it they're not going to be at their sharpest and you're always likely to aggravate a hamstring if it's not 100% so they may not last the match anyway.
We could end up with Essien and Ferriera at CB, that'll be fun.
Malouda looks like he might be struggling to be fit though so it's not all doom & gloom:)

I really can't decide who I think will win this Saturday. On one hand Bayern are at home and then there's Chelsea who agaisnt all odds have battle there way to the final. I don't rate Bayern defence and then there's Drogba who will be up for it. Saying that Chelsea won't have their normal back line so it's gonna be the battle of the best attacking team who wins the cup. Bayern do like to attack so I don't see it going to extra time unless it's s score draw.

Unfortunately, my fingers a crossed for B. Munich. Shame really, as I work for a Bavarian bank who's HO is based in Munich so their are few smug faces here.

How on earth a banned captain is [potentially] allowed to lift the trophy is beyond me.

Why shouldn't he be enabled to, if Chelsea won he would have had a huge part in winning it, its not one game, and to be as petty as to not allow someone to lift the cup if their team has won it is ridiculous.
