Leaving Arsenal is almost a guarantee of winning medals, often multiple medals

Though I don't think the result would have been different, I do think Juve's lack of bench depth didn't help them in the Final.
Juve did have a spell and had the chances, they didn't take them. I feel more sorry for Buffon, the only medal he hasn't won and I doubt he will get another chance.
I'm sure Italians say the same about English teams as well!

Buffon will always be noted as a legend though. It seems football, despite its fickleness has its romantic moments still. Despite most of my favourite players never winning various medals, they will always be legends to me

Not just that, look at the teams they beat on the way. Champions of England, France, Germany and Italy and all dispatched comfortably too.
