I hate first legs, always fairly tentative and boring.

Expecting the following United team:

VdS
O'Shea - Evans - Vidic - Evra
Ronaldo - Carrick - Scholes - Park
Rooney - Tevez

Think Fletcher, Giggs and Neville will be given a rest, would say the same for Tevez too but Fergie won't want to start with Macheda or Welbeck. Foster might get a start.

We're a little short on striking options tonight with RvP, Eduardo and Arshavin unable to play. Can see us playing a 4-5-1:

Almunia
Sagna Toure Gallas Clichy
Walcott Denislon Cesc Song Nasri
Ade

Can see us scoing a goal as Villareal are going to be attacking, hopefuly Waclott can find some space down the wing. Be nice if we can keep a clean sheet too but i wouldnt be surprised if it ends as a score draw.

Think United will comfortably win 2 -0 or 3 - 0. Barca will do the same and a bore draw between Liverpool and Chelsea.

I just hope Utd dont concede as that could cause a few problems with the away goal rule

The Villareal /Arsenal game could be close given the EPL side's defence

Why the hell did Utd play on Sunday if they are playing today?! Who fixed up that fixture, 1 day rest is taking the ****.

From what I can gather, because Sky Sports had the rights the only thing we could have done is change it to a 1pm kick off.

Or move it to the Saturday.

Shows how much Fergie is worried about Porto by not moving the game though.

Vidic and Rooney didn't play on Sunday anyway so I wouldn't worry about fitness too much.

Can't wait to see what Hulk can do :D

Seriously though, not worried by Porto's defense but Hulk, Lisandro Lopez, Cristian Rodriguez and Lucho Gonzalez are pretty good.
