** Uefa Champions League, Semi-final ** *spoilers*

I agree. Almunia should have been booked for the way he threw himself in. A footballers legs are his livlihood and he could easily have broke Tevez' the way he threw himself in. Clumsy at best.

Difference is Almunia won the ball

Tevez studs were about an inch away form Almunia's face.

Clear booking imo but we could debate over it all day seeing as its one of those challenges that can be perceived differently.

He was joking, I think!?

GREAT news about Rio, Arsenal now have a chance.

news about Rio is confused - some stating he has no worse injury than a little bruising - other reports stating he has cracked / broken ribs

Either if Rio doesnt make it Arsenal have to make a HUGE improvement to even contemplate the final, I wouldnt be too concerned with Jonny Evans replacing Rio for a couple of matches

Chelsea have had to replace Carvalho all season so united fans get no sympathy from me :)

Hope arsenal win so Chelsea can stroll to the cup :)

If you're going to bring up when you beat us 2-1 at stamford bridge I'll remind you that RVP's goal was about 10 yards offside.

As a goalkeeper did you get kicked in the head?

You seem very bitter :/

Not just bitter but biased :(

He thinks Lampard is a world class player.

Lampard wouldn't get near a world class 11 :(

The first step is admitting it.

He knows Lampard is a world class player.

I'll remind you of his highest goalscoring record in the world for a midfielder at club level.

Bitter? No. Just stating the facts. An extra 3 points to Chelsea's tally would have made the world of difference.

I'd describe them both as wingers/second strikers. Messi will often cut inside or hang back to leave space for Alves, and Ronaldo is fairly positionally promiscuous as well, but I wouldn't say either of them are proper midfielders.

Lampard plays quite high up the field too usually, generally in the same areas as Ronaldo/Messi.

Not really he plays CM and gets forward when he has the opportunity.

Messi and ronaldo only have to beat a full back and they're in with a chance on goal.

Gustov, you're banging your head against a brick wall mate.
No matter how good Lampard is people won't admit it as they love to hate him, especially supporters of lesser sides who can only dream of having someone like him in their team and those who only read the biased ramblings on the back pages of the tabloids or watch Goals on Sunday and don't watch him play a whole game often enough to actually appreciate how good he is:)

They need to win by two clear goals.

Well no they dont really. They could get one goal and it will be extra time and penalies.

So they dont NEED two goals, would be nice though. :D

I think Arsenal did however need to get an away goal, I can see them beating Utd at home but I cant see Utd not scoring.

So I think it will be 2-1 to arsenal and Utd thro on away goals. Either that or we crumble and loss 5-0 lol
