Absolute madness in Manc-land atm. There's drunk jocks in kilts flashing themselves, fans up lamposts, flags and a big sea of blue:

Would hate to be near there if they lose tonight. :)

I have a feeling they are going to get a pasting, any team who beats Bayern 4 - 0 is bound to be a bit handy and Rangers look to be running out of steam.

My sister went shopping and said they are staying longer enjoying the atmosphere, she rung me up and all i could hear was hooters and chants.

I was going to go on the train but too much hassle to get a beer and would rather stay at home.

Just got home from it all :D

Metrolink isn't running anywhere near the town centre.

Piccadilly gardens is packed (as seen on the pictures), piccadilly station is packed, so is victoria... Market street is full, no buses are running LOL.

Going to be a good night for them !

it's got busier since the above pictures (as could be expected i suppose)
the carlsberg tanker (which they're running pumps straight off) had run out in albert square i believe, or was running low, but i dont imagine it will be long before they get another one in, most of them are carrying their own crates anyway, cant blame them at £3 a pint from the outdoor bars

My dad and his mates are down there too, looks like an amazing atmosphere for Rangers fans.

BBC reporting that Ibrox is already full and they only planned for 25,000 ( ) crowd at the free live beamback.

Manchester will gain £25 million in revenue from this match :D

When walking through Pic. gardens there was just beer everywhere, the bins were over flowing and it was an endless blue sea of Scots!

Come on Rangers.

If Everton can beat these Rangers should be able to aswell. :)

Won't be supporting Rangers in 10 days time though mind you. :)

Pfft.. Illiterate Celtic fans ;) They have the tail of the "u" on the wrong side so it looks like a "micro" symbol.

(Appreciates the danger of saying illiterate whilst not being sure if I've spelt it correctly).

You have. :)

Good luck to Rangers, the smugness will be unbearable for a while if they win but I still hope they do and not just because Alex Salmond says so. Dozy prat almost makes me want to not support them with his "...it is your duty as Scots... blah blah blah".

It's at times like this that the old firm should put their differences behind them and get together for the good of scottish football.

I have a fear that Rangers are gonna ship 3 goals tonight though and I dont think they are capable of scoring more than one.

Is it just me or is the picture a bit 1970's Russia? Reminds me of Super-Kick off on the Master System where all the players have been eating ready brek and have the lovely glow around them.

The Scots are here in force, even more than when Celtic came to Old Trafford for the Keane testamonial. Ventured onto the M60 around 9am this morning and every fourth car was Scottish registered...
