I think Arbeloa is probably a better defender than Walker and Richards as well.

As Pigeon said, Gerrard/Lampard can't be compared with Martinez and Busquets. You'd have to put them against Parker and I think they are both probably better (Busquets definitely is). The creative Spanish midfielders definitely have the edge over Lampard and Gerrard.
 
It's a bit silly of them not to start Torres or Llorente, it's almost as if they want to make a point that you can win without a striker. :confused:

Come on Italy!!

I'm sick of this nonsensical style of football they're playing. It's okay for Barca because Messi makes it exciting and very effective. Nothing like that here.
 
Ireland are just rubbish to be honest, they're getting outclassed by a superior team. I'm not sure why people thought they had much of a chance.

Spain and Italy will tear them apart.
