So this Will Grigg everyone keeps going on about, he doesn't even play as a sub?... Surely you would bring him on at 1-0. The boost from the crowd would be more effective than anything any other subs would bring.

He's not quick (like Washington) or a physical presence (like Lafferty). Grigg is simply a decent finisher so there's no point bringing him on unless he'd be given support. No chance in that game of NI providing any help to their forwards.

Strange game though. Germany had loads of possession and good opportunities, but it took a deflected shot for their one goal.
