Kane will break Rooney's England goalscoring easily if stays injury free and is afforded the same number of years in the team regardless of how poorly he plays.

There is absolutely zero pleasing England fans/media. Such a tough position to be in.
Currently, 30 points with 10 wins and only a couple goals conceded = no one happy. Not playing the right players, based off of name and not form etc.
Play an experimental team based off of form = why does this guy get an England cap.

Lets be honest. If we took the view you are advocating we would all be putting money on England to win the next WC and Euros. We are playing budget opposition and we aren't exactly putting them to the sword. We aren't playing that well most of the time and we all know that if we play like this against anyone half decent or who can actually defend we will get caught out.

Oh don't get me wrong, they haven't been playing great at all. I lost interest in England games years ago, but I still like to keep an eye on them. Just stating what the media has made them out to be (bigger than what they are).

Bruma has been woeful throughout qualifying and Van Dijk hasn't been much better since he has come in. He was statuesque there.

Blind is offering no protection either. Amazingly, Anita would improve this side no end.
