UEFA Euro 2016 - Quarter-finals **spoilers** (30th June - 3rd July)

Zaza's penalty is my favourite moment of the tournament!... Good job bringong him on to take one.

It's idiotic from Conte, I think bringing on a guy with seconds to go with no chance to get up to the speed of the game, get over a bit of nerves with a few touches of the ball is asking for trouble. Yeah his run up was stupid but penalties are bad enough for players, asking a totally cold player to take one is stupid as you can get.

Bring him on 5 minutes earlier and for that matter, Low should have put Podolski on, he's a freaking machine, great penalty taker and they were a more dominant team needing someone fresh upfront who can score. He should have come on before the 90 mins were up let alone before 120mins were up. Wouldn't have put Ozil or Muller down to put a penalty either. Ozil already missed a big penalty and Muller just hasn't been anywhere near on it.

There has been some very odd extra time choices by managers, another team only used one sub iirc with like 5 mins of extra time left when half the team had been knackered for ages.

I blame Boateng for wasting 40 minutes of my life :p

What he was doing waving his arms in the air only he will ever know.

So Germany beat Italy 6-5 after full/extra time on penalties.

Just like a Germany-England match :p

Wales will fall down the same pit if they get through to the next round and meet Germany :D

I feel bad for Zaza, he's gonna be lynched in Italy lol. He needs to take lessons on how to do that stupid run-up from Pogba.

Absolutely unbelievably bad penalty shootout, lol. Can't believe that one that went far left of the goal post and the one that went right over the top of the goal post. I mean, it was like something out of a monty python gumby sketch. :D

I dont blame Zaza. It was stupid of Conte to bring on a player just to take a penalty.

Yup. He didn't even have a chance to touch the ball before his penalty. Ridiculous to put a player in such a difficult position with so much on the line.

It's as though they don't train every day receiving probably at least a million a year for kicking a ball.
Whatever were they thinking?
