Who would people like as his replacement? I think options are fairly limited at the moment (but literally anyone is better).

I wouldn't mind seeing Shearer have a go. Or, Hoddle with Shearer as assistant, for example. Get some of our most experienced players in there, and a manager who has a plan.

Unbelievable. His statement last night was nowhere near sufficient.

Just watched it. Astonishing. All along I've been confused as to how he got the job, and how he kept the job. He did nothing right.

I'm delighted he's gone, I hope the FA make a bold appointment and whoever it is can bring some excitement to our national game.
