Lol, Montenegro are one of the crappiest ever that England will easily beat again, and then of course England players will be all ecstatic after each goal thinking they're a world beating team, until they play a half decent side. Same ****, different day :p

Whether that's Mount's best or preferred position, he's played mostly in a midfield 3 for Chelsea this season.

I'm not convinced Maddison is a good enough midfielder to play in a midfield 3, not yet at least. It's something he's going to have to improve on too if he's going to make the step up to a big CL team in the future because very few play with a number 10 and he's not got the pace or genius ability to play wide in a front 3.

Not really, he’s played just as much as a 10 as he has in CM. I take the point Mount has played more in CM than Maddison has though.

Either way we should be good enough to tonk this lot with Maddison in behind Kane with Rashford and Sancho either side.

4-2-1-3 let’s go.
 
I'd imagine with so few games between the now and the Euro's, Southgate will want to stick to a settled system rather than tweaking things to accommodate. The whole casino thing during the last round of internationals probably hasn't helped him either, there was some talk that he might not even make the squad because of it.
 
The only thing stopping this ending in double figures will be Kane desperately shooting everytime he gets the ball, searching for his hattrick.
