UEFA Euro 2020 Round of 16 ** spoilers ** [26th - 29th June 2021]

There was 4-5 times in a row before that when each time the Danes break they were taken down illegally. Ref probably just got fed up and had to make an example of someone.
Still doesn't warrant a red card and I'm supprised it wasn't overturned by VAR.

The only way a foul like would warrant a red is if it denied an obvious goal scoring opportunity and since Wales had other men back then that was not the case so should have just been a yellow for a cynical foul.

In the context of the match it didn't make much difference but what if something like this happens in another game where the teams were drawing and the fact that VAR didn't overturn it doesn't exactly give confidence in the system.

Look at the line-ups for the Italy-Austria match, I have to say Immobile is a particularly inappropriate name for a forward, and Bachmann is a particularly appropriate name for a goalie.
I was trying to think (without looking it up - that's cheating) what the heck Immobile could mean in English... As a surname, the closest I could think of was "Walker", not quite immobile, but fairly slow :p

Austria really turned up, just a shame the touches aren't on point else they might well have put one away by now. Veratti being denied the chances Italy need but even so they look dangerous.
