Denmark have been alright but Southgate has got his tactics all wrong. He’s set us up the same in pretty much every game. Defence first and then hope to work our way into games. Against teams like this you just end up with your DMs trying to add to your attack and doing a poor job of it whilst being caught out on the counter when there is a turnover.

Should only have a single DM and another proper midfielder.

Denmark are defending with 11 men and are quite happy to break on us.

Sterling has been the same as pretty much every game. A bit crap and wasteful apart from when he is being the goal threat around the 6 yard box.

Oh I get that, he has been involved, I didn’t mean he wasn’t at all, he’s done well at what he has done outside the box. Just felt like he’s rarely in there as a target when he’s needed, I dunno.

Too tight in there if he just poaches he will barely touch the ball. It’s fine him coming deep to get the ball if Saka, Mount and Sterling can get beyond him imo.
