Surely also it destroys the confidence of your subs if you flat out refuse to play them. Even after 80+ minutes and the guys on the field look tired. And yet still, still, you won't bring them on. Because... because?
 
You can't take mount off, he's the only creative player behind the forwards and has done well. You take off one of the CDM's for Hendo and swap out sterling for Foden/sancho.
 
Fair to say the Danes have not offered anything going forward second half, they are tired.

I hope we make at least 2 subs in extra time and try to ram home our superior fitness.

If it goes to penalties, we could easily lose. We have to win in ET.

But we've taken off one of the quicker players, and it's all very well playing people in but when you're the only striker you then need to get yourself into the box after playing the pass
