The more I see of Italy the more I think what a massive waste us losing to them in them in the final (at home!) was, they've been utter dross today and most of the time since 2021!

You know you're in trouble when Matteo Darmian is playing for you. He's 34 now and was pants at 24. I think they miss Veratti in midfield but the bottom line is that their players arent anywhere near the level of previous generations. I also wouldn't under estimate the loss of a player like Chiellini. They weren't great in the last Euro's but England wet the bed and gifted it to them.
