Portugal have much better players. It always going to be one team with more possession and shots than the other. Bit unfair to have a pop at the team played on the counter

Not quite the same, England do at least push forwards looking for a goal similar to Portugal the only difference being Portugal gets it the box in 10 passes whereas England takes a leisurely 30+ touches.

I hate to say it but that bracket looks setup for an England win. Switzerland will be a tough test but I can’t say I fear Portugal or France. If that side manages to get one over Spain/Germany I really wouldn’t put it past us wining the whole thing. Maybe I’ve had a few too many Cruzcampos.

Interestingly, the full time stats for England v Slovenia and Portugal v Slovenia were almost identical. On each metric there was at most a difference of 1.
