UEFA Europa League 2010/11 Matchday 5 *** Spoilers ***

Milner has been good today in centre mid..hopefully Mancini will play him there again against Bolton as we need pace and trickery down the wings against Bolton eg SWP and Johnson.

Tell me you have another player with those initials
No why?
Good performance all round, Balotelli seems to have calmed down a lot so if we can just take the diving out were good to go.
Special mention to Milner who had an excellent game today considering all the slagging off i did earlier (Obviously read OCUK :p). Back 4 did alright for what they had to do. Balo and Johnson were class today and Johnsons goal at the end was very Messi-esque.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how to field your second team :D

Did someone give us back SWP's twin brother? Someone lit his ass on fire before this game, played his little heart out. Well, you can never question his heart, but for once his footwork actually started to match up to his effort. And no matter what I say about Balotellis attitude, that kid scores goals. 5 Goals in 6 appearances (inc short substitutions) now. If this is him ****ed off and diving, please someone transplant Tevez's workrate into that boy and give him the golden boot now. He *really* needs to start putting in the effort for the team, some points today were just insulting. Either he's very good at knowing what balls he'll never get too, or he's just bloody lazy. He clearly thought he was better than Salzburg tonight and if he acts like that against spirited teams in the EPL we'll loose. We had so many chances to bury that in the first half that neither him nor Jo looked like they could be bothered finishing. I'l stop now before it gets too DM..

Johnsons goal really was very good. Wasn't the first time he beat more than one man for a shot on goal either.

On another note, did anyone see the shots from other games being played over the continent tonight? Absolutely mental! Completely ice white pitches, orange balls, no idea how anyone knew where the goal was, let alone the lines.

Reina, Kelly, Kyrgiakos, Wilson, Aurelio, Shelvey, Poulsen, Cole, Jovanovich, Pacheco, Babel.

Pacheco! About time he got a start!

I have to say that I can't fault that team really - would rather have Spearing in for Poulsen, but apart from that I'm happy with it. Will be excellent seeing Pacheco getting a game, and I hope that it lets Cole find some form as well.

I know Poulsen's **** but I think I'd give him the nod over Spearing seeing as he has a broken ankle ;)

Hmm, it's touch and go :p

When did Spearing break his ankle? Missed that one.

It takes them about an hour to shake the hands of all the officials :(
