UEFA Nations League Group Stage Matchday 2 [5th - 8th June 2022]

Mount starts again, what a joke. Will be able to see exactly where southgate's team is at here, after a defeat to Hungary and the way we played I'd expect us to lose here.

When did channel 4 win nation league rights then? Thought was on sky lol

Like him as a player but ultimately this. If a club offered a decent amount for him if I was Leeds I'd accept.

OTT. He had a hamstring issue this season, the injury today isn’t linked, he’s just been unlucky. It’s like saying when VVD came back from ages out and he hurt something else you should get shot of him

He’s the one player I would not sell whatsoever.

I really do despise Maguire. It's not even that I think he's crap, I just hate his style. Brutish, overly cynical and completely without grace. He's a bore to watch.

Do we not have left backs anymore then?

We do it's just Southgate is useless and won't look past his tried and tested. These nation league games aka friendlies are perfect for giving fringe players a run out. He's learning absolutely nothing playing trippier coming back off an injury

Some of the balls out of the first third are appalling. There was a free kick and a clear ball up to Mount(I think) on the left but no one in that back line can make the pass so went for an easy ball and ended up losing the ball.

This is utterly dire stuff from England

Replay of the Hungary match, Southgate's tournament runs have been such a good pull the wool over everyone's eyes job. Flatter to deceive.

He is not the coach to take this group of players forward. He has no clue how to get us playing fluent attacking football. We are clueless.

Is it going to be another England manager putting square pegs in round holes?
