UEFA Nations League Group Stage Matchday 6 [25th - 27th September 2022]

There's more flying elbows in the Wales Poland game than in your average wrestling match. Very little football being played and quite frankly if it carries on like this in the second half the ref should abandon the match and deduct both teams of three points. Bloody hopeless

No Tomori who has played plenty of minutes for Milan this season yet Maguire in again.

Zero expectations, probably won't score, another snoozefest awaits I don't know why I bother. Let's see if we can finish up this tournament alongside the mighty San Marino as the only teams who haven't scored in open play.

It's funny because Southgate wants to harp on about getting sacked if we flop at the WC when in all probability he won't, the FA are as clueless as he is.

Because the result against Italy basically makes this a friendly, could the clubs have got on the phone and gone “oi don’t play so and so there’s no point”? Otherwise, like others I can’t see the point in calling them up.

Southgate hasn’t a clue, saying he has seen improvements in the Italy game? Apart from not conceding 4 this time I can’t think what else we improved upon.

People don't talk about the crime Southgate is committing with Tomori enough. He's been absolutely amazing for AC. Head and shoulders above any other CB in the England frame.

If I was trent I'd be retiring until fraudgate is sacked
Trent doesnt have any right to command a place especially at the moment but this is a dead rubber and England are very VERY defensive. Why not play a fella who creates chances for fun from RB?

Just baffles me tbh.

Tomori being another one.

England historically has never gotten the best out of their most creative players, go back to the likes of Hoddle, Barnes, Gascoigne, McManaman etc. Trent is just a member of a long list of players. Southgate should have built the team around him with his preferred 3 at the back with Trent at rwb, guys a dinosaur... Not that I mind Trent missing out on meaningless games that much though.

we‘ve got seriously **** ever since the matches started showing on channel 4. Put them on ITV this instant, it’s our only hope.

Had England been defensively solid and looked good in attack id get it 100% but they havent. They have been a mess at the back with a single clean sheet in the last 5 games and scored once...

So ******* clueless, Maguire and Shaw in a starting Line up. He hasn't paid any attention to the change in Uniteds fortunes has he.

How he's in charge of the England talent.....get this man out. Joker.

yes the double sin of being rubbish in defence and unable to score.

Playing Maguire should be some sort of crime by now surely - the guy plays like he has a leg in plaster.

I thought Fraudgate saying we played well against Italy showed how small time he is but I didn't read about his response to questions about replacing him. He could've said he was the best man for the job, he could've pointed to his record in major tournament but no, changing managers would destabilise England so close to the WC. Even Southgate doesn't believe Southgate's the best man for the job.

It's no surprise at all, Germany seem desperate to get at our left back Shaw and left CB Maguire, done there homework.

It's where the game will be lost for us.
