***UEFA Women's EURO England 2022***

I've taken a bit more interest in women's football over the past year, my son went to a game last year and enjoyed it so he's going to England vs NI with my wife and then I'm taking him to Wembley for the final (gonna be gutted if England aren't in it!). Both matches are sold out so hoping for a good atmosphere.

The standard obviously leaves a fair bit to be desired but it can still be entertaining.

I think the venues are a bit of a joke tbh. They want to promote womens football and grow it but choose some piddly little 4-5k capacity stadiums. For example they are using the Man City academy stadium. Why couldn’t they use the Etihad?

Also, it would be nice to have some more male pundits and comms during the tournament. It seems like women can do the mens game but not the other way round.

true though they don't want Etihad to have higher attendance than what man city draws in

Find the crowd a bit naff in the womens game, possibly the makeup of the crowd a lot different, so there is no chants/singing its just noise.

I think most stadiums are getting renovated at this time of year, so possibly out of use.

I did hear they have sold 500k tickets overall, which doesn't seem that huge in comparison to 65k at Old Trafford last night. However i guess a full stadium for the lesser games, looks better than a empty one.

I have watched some of the England's women team recently and its reasonable football. It seems to be relentless attacking which is great, hardly any sideways passing or backwards compared to the Premier League

This is going to be double digits
