I agree with you on a lot of what you say. Sure there is a gulf in skill. There is also some signs of diving and cheating coming into it which I hate.

But, as it stands, I still prefer watching the women's game. For the moment...

That’s totally fine. Plenty of people watch Sunday league religiously where the guys can barely identify a football. Out and out quality isn’t the be all end all in entertainment or support. It’s just the hyperbole around the womens game that is a bit ridiculous at the moment.

To be fair though, it was awful in the build up to the mens Euros final as well. Just in a different way.
