UEFI - am I missing anything?

Have just done a new install on an Asus P8P67, think I've managed to **** up the install.

My drive doesn't show as UEFI in the boot menu, I think I've installed it the old way. I can still enter the graphical interface though. Have I done something wrong? Does it matter?

Drives aren't UEFI. Drives are MBR or GPT.

So uefi ...trying to work this out...do i need to format my ssd to gpt ?

if you need to select raid as a boot method it wont auto select it, its a bodged addition to bios.

otherwise make sure your intel HD controller hosts the boot drive

You have to set the bios to UEFI boot or something & then put the windows dvd in so it starts in uefi mode or something - I can't fully remember :confused:
