Anyone have any experience with with whether

HIS HD 7970 IceQ X² GHz Edition

on asus x99-a + win8

supports fast boot

Whats your Motherboard? it also needs to be compatible.

asus x99-a usb 3.1
win 8 (well actually it will be win 10)
(so the mboard and os do support)

um yeah, your motherboard supports it, most UEFI bios`s support Secure boot.
and your graphics card supports going by the image.

Also its the method what method your OS was installed.
if it was installed with UEFI enabled and secure boot and installed in UEFI mode then it will
if the os was installed in NONE UEFI mode it will be normal boot.
