Well, UFC 101 Declaration is live on Saturday night and the fairly strong card looks like;

MAIN CARD

* Champ B.J. Penn vs. Kenny Florian (for UFC lightweight title)
* Champ Anderson Silva vs. Forrest Griffin (non-title fight)
* Johny Hendricks vs. Amir Sadollah
* Ricardo Almeida vs. Kendall Grove
* Josh Neer vs. Kurt Pellgrino

PRELIMINARY CARD

* Shane Nelson vs. Aaron Riley
* John Howard vs. Tamdan McCrory
* Thales Leites vs. Alessio Sakara
* Dan Cramer vs. Matthew Riddle
* George Roop vs. George Sotiropoulos
* Jesse Lennox vs. Danillo Villefort

Picks in bold as per usual!

I really feel Kenflo has a good chance of taking the belt off BJ. He has improved so much in the past 2/3 years in all aspects. Has the BJJ, the Muay Thai and the striking game to really trouble 'The Prodigy'. However, I still feel BJ will just edge it as he's naturally more gifted than Kenny in most areas. Providing BJ doesn't gas I see him taking a close victory, maybe via TKO late in the 4th, or via a decision.

It would be too easy to pick Anderson Silva for his fight against Forrest. Forrest is almost a 3/1 underdog and i'm seriously considering a flutter. Not only will he have the stamina to go 3 full rounds, all out, he should also be significantly bigger and stronger than Anderson. Providing he doesn't get torn apart on the feet (Which of course there's a very good chance he will be!) I feel Forrest has a decent chance of keeping a high pace and sneeking out a decision, certainly much better than the odds give him credit.

Other than the 2 main fights, should be interesting to see what Amir Sadolah can bring to the Octagon considering he's done nothing but injure himself for the past, what, 18 months? Also looking out for Tamdon McCrory, I feel he's one for the future for sure.

All in all this event has a lot to live up to after UFC100, but i'm hoping it should be a good show :)

Not a bad card and I also think Griffin has a great chance of taking The Spider, who will be pushed far more than he has been in the last couple of fights.

I also think Penn will have a very hard fight against Florian, but should win through in the end, especially as he might actually be in shape for once.

Also looking forward to Sadollah's first fight after winning TUF, he looks a very good fighter.

I pick Almeida v Grove as fight of the night.

I am watching the weigh in live, Griffin and Silva were staring each other down and Griffin looks a lot bigger. Not just taller but wider and his chest is bigger.

I'm watching Dana's conference call and he say's that UFC 101 is free on ESPN, but looking on their website, it doesn't say that at all, so I'm rather sceptical about it.

Ortiz's first fight back will be against Mark Coleman at the end of the year, which could be good.

Looking on the UFC website, it states that ESPN will be free in August for Virgin customers, so it looks like us Sky bods will have to subscribe.

I'm totally mixed about this card. BJ - Naturally soooo gifted, Ken Flo, so improved and so much talent. Griffen, more powerful and lots of "lastablility", Silva... well "Silva" nuff said. Not gonna even try to predict. I see a great 2 bouts either way.

I read that the next two (101 & 102) were going to be broadcast ala 100 free on Sky, but then would go over to ESPN - I take it I am wrong in thinking this?

I'm sure I read that as well although reading back on the article where I had previously seen it, it may have changed or I might have been mistaken.

Looking forward to it anyhow, should be a few good fights. I'm hoping to see Forrest win though I think Silva will take it, would like to be wrong.

The amount of adverts is annoying, as it was with Setanta, but they have to recoup some of the money, so you can't really blame them.

Sadollah was stopped early for me, as Hendricks punches weren't doing any damage when the ref stepped in, either hitting the back of the head, or missing.

Yeah, really early, first two fights were so boring to, no action at all so far really.

This fight won't be boring mate and I'm going for the upset Forrest win. Although, knowing my prediction skills, that's bad news for him.
