UFC 57 Liddell vs Couture 3 is on Bravo Sunday 5th February @ 10pm.

Keith Jardine (Pictures) vs Mike Whitehead (Pictures)
Nick Diaz (Pictures) vs Joe Riggs (Pictures)
Jeff Monson (Pictures) vs Branden Lee Hinkle
Paul Buentello (Pictures) vs Gilbert Aldana
Brandon Vera (Pictures) vs Justin Eilers (Pictures)
Alessio Sakara vs Elvis Sinosic
Renato Sobral (Pictures) vs Mike Van Arsdale (Pictures)
Frank Mir (Pictures) vs Marcio Cruz
Chuck Liddell (Pictures) vs Randy Couture
 
Yep, already got a reminder set on my phone to pester me repeatedly throughout the day :D

Looking forward to seeing Mike Whitehead, he sucked in his fight on TUF2, hopefully he can be better this time.
Obviously also looking forward to Liddell vs Couture as well :)
 
Mir and Couter are the two fights im interested in, not bothered about Mike he was just hyped because Hughs gives him love.
 
Didn't Mike Whitehead have some medical condition going on with his chest in TUF2 that made him suck? Hopefully he should be a different fighter now.
Diaz vs Riggs should be good, as should Babalu vs Van Arsdale.
Mirs return will be interesting, but im sure we're all well up for Liddell vs Couture III \o/
 
Mir's return, Diaz v Riggs and Chuck v Randy are the highlights for me and I expect Randy to make more effort getting Chuck to the floor in this fight, if he tries the standup again, it'll be the same result as last time.
 
looking forward to monson and hinkle, also see how well Mir does against a bona fide sub specialist and bjj mundial champ in Pano de Pano. Looking forward to see Sobral fighting too 9 str8 wins since he fought Chuck.

Also Cage Rage 15 is on this saturday at the wembly conference center if anyones interested. some big MMA names taking part.
 
super bowl weekend?
i might be up to watch this afterall, then the superbowl as and when i remember its on :D

what am i on about being in bed at 10pm, didnt even notice the time 57 was starting!
 
Thank god the UFC is back on this weekend as its been quite quite now for a while.

A few good matches on the card so it should be a very lively event.

I'm not sure who will win between Liddell & Couture as this time it will be a ground match as I don't think Randy will be standing this time.

Roll on Sunday.
 
I have so much respect for anyone who would get in the ring at one of these events, let alone Liddell and Couture,simply amazing.

I like Chuck but have so much respect for Randy, he is just awesome, I mean how old is the guy now ,forty something, a decent, respectfull man who is still a fantastic example of what can be achieved with hard work and determination.

They both would scare me stiff.

The Ultimate FIghter 2 which I had watched before and the usual re-runs of UFC events which I I have watched before also.

Its some new stuff I wanted to see but if there was some then I missed it. :(

Sounds like you've missed a good 3 or 4 events. Pride NYE show, K-1 NYE show, UFC Ultimate Fight Night 3 and cage rage 14 mainly.

Bugger me, I didn't notice the UFC events.

Not sure if Pride is shown on UK TV though is it?

As for Liddell-Couture, I really can't call it, it'll depend on whether or not it's a ground fight or a stand up fight. On the ground I give it to Randy, standing up I give it to Chuck.
 
Why are we always a day behind when it comes to UFC PPV's, it sucks. Everybody else has seen it already, now i've gotta do my best to avoid certain websites. No doubt i'll forget in an hour and spoil it all for myself. :(
