wicked thanks for the reminder

No superbowl for me.

Went on their site and found out the results, here they are:

:P just jking, I know the results but im not an arse! I think *checks* 2 mins left ^^

Well I'm pretty disappointed with Bravo's coverage, they didn't show 3 of the fights, and half of the programme was taken up by stupid reminders and build up for the Couture Liddell fight :(

I thought it was one of the best ufc's i've seen in a long time, on the version I saw they only missed 2 of the fights. No boring fights at all really.
IMO it's far more entertaining than boxing. :p

corrales vs castillo, 100x better than any ufc fight could ever be. Those who have seen this fight will know im right.

Seen it already mate. Im a big fan of boxing, I just prefer mma.
There's no i'm right or wrong here; it's a matter of opinion.

Glad to see Randy hanging up his gloves before he gets really injured, what a great career.

The next event should be great and the BJ Penn v Georges StPierre fight could be a classic, if BJ is back to his old self that is, because StPierre looks awesome at the moment.

Randys a great sportsman. Sad to see him go.

Frank Mirs comeback was a little dissapointing it has to be said.

Mir stand up isnt great. he relies on his ground submission skills, and PDP is much better at it. Cant see PDP doing well against a decent striker however.

Aww man, so sad to see randy retire, the guy is a legend!!

Anyone else get tired of goldberg and esp rogan constantly trying to big up the ufc fighters? chuck best 205'er in the world? haha ask Dana how much he lost betting on chuck winning the pride middle weight championship.

Pride was a few years ago and things have changed since then and judging him now you would see a different Liddell to the Liddell back then.

I was looking forward to Mir but it was by far not the match I thought it would be. He reminded me of that LA or wherever cop that fought a few UFC's ago who was hopeless.

Vera looks good but again another big mouth that's too cocky and rants on. Thats the signs that that person will be winning for some time to come but could do with an ass kicking to bring him down to earth.

Not a bad event I must say and I can't wait for the BJ Penn v Georges StPierre fight which will be the highlight of the night.

I quite enjoyed this one, much more enjoyable than the last one. Most fights were pretty decent. Was really surprised by how much blood came from that 1 punch on Mir and quite gutted that Liddell won because of a slip, he certainly took advantage of it though.

I thought Chuck looked in a class above Randy to be honest, Randy was taking a bit of a battering and slip or not I reckon it would have ended the same way. I think his age is really starting to show. Babalu looks like he'll be a much greater test for Chuck.

I don't think Chuck is the best LHW in the world either. That would be mostly likely be Shogun or Wandy. But if they did fight im sure it'd be pretty close. I think Chuck's new confidence would help him a lot now if he did go to Pride again.

Brandon Vera's KO was sweet.

I've got the feeling GSP will beat BJ then Hughes too.

Its been a while since I've seen Liddell on the ground fighting with is past matches all been won from standing. Those wanting to stand with him might find it a difficult approach especially with how easily Liddell can knock someone out.

Now if Liddell was to fight someone and be taken to the ground, it would be interesting to see if he's rusty and the shape of a fight can esily change when fighters are in that position.

If Liddell was to fight on the ground in his next fight and win in good fashion, It would be hard to ignore the fact it might just be the best in the business. As yet, I'm not rating anyone to be the best especially Shogun who in my opinion has yet to prove me!

I think he's fairly well proven, last year alone he has wins over:

Ricardo Arona
Alistair Overeem
Antonio Rogerio Nogueira
Quinton Rampage Jackson
Kanehara

Much better wins than Chuck's imo.
