Ok UFC 76 tomorrow night, the main card is as follows:

-Mauricio "Shogun" Rua vs. Forrest Griffin
-Chuck Liddell vs. Keith Jardine
-Diego Sanchez vs. Jon Fitch
-Kazuhiro Nakamura vs. Lyoto Machida
-Tyson Griffin vs. Thiago Tavares

The Shogun / Griffin fight should be awesome. I really hope that Rua shows the UFC audience what he's capable of, as sadly most of the Pride guys have had weak first showings, despite being among the best out there. So assuming he's trained hard (he hasn't fought since knocking out Overeem back in Feb) I think he'll win by TKO in the 2nd.

I really can't see Liddell having a dominant victory over Jardine. At best I think he'll get a cheeky KO. I think Jardine will want the win more, so I'm betting on him. Odds are 3/1 on Jardine atm, so I think there might be money to be made there! :D

I'll also be looking for Jon Fitch, Nakamura and Tyson Griffin to win.

Shogun is really good. unfortunately i think the rules of UFC will hamper his style, but it will be an interesting fight.

If Liddell does not beat Jardine surely time to hand his gloves up.

Are there only 5 fights in the entire event?!

My predictions would be:

Forrest
Liddell
Fitch
Nakamura
Griffin

Not saying they're the better fighters, just who I think will win on the night :)

isnt diego sanchez unbeaten or something?

remember him on ultimate fighter, havent seen him fight in a while though, hope he wins

Im going for my boy Chuck!!!:D against Jardine..

Want Forest to put a good fight to Shogun!

And I want Dirty Sanches to get a good beating!:p

UFC All Access - Forrest Griffin was shown in the states last night.

Any one on the tracker can pick it up.

Was a good showing

My prediction are:

Mauricio "Shogun" Rua
Chuck Liddell
Diego Sanchez
Lyoto Machida
Tyson Griffin

Although after my 0 - 3 effort in UFC 75, I'm probably way off.:o

Chuck is going to hand Jardines bottom to him on a plate i'm sure - not entirely sure how that works, Alexander beats Jardine and has to fight Sakura, Jardine loses and has a chance at a title shot if he beats Chuck. Interesting.

Looking forward to seeing Shogun, not seen a lot of him outside the UFC and he comes well respected.

My predictions are :

Chuck
Rua
Sanchez
Machida
Griffin

Think Josh Koscheck beat him fairly recently
UFC69 perhaps

Yes he did. Sanchez was horrific in that fight. It was released later however that he had a hole in his thigh the size of a fist due to a staph infection. It almost cost him his career as well.

Unfortunately wrong! Dana white has stated the following:

If Chuck wins he will fight Wandelai Silva on the New Years show. He said if Jardine wins he will fight Silva.

He also said that if Shogun wins he will likely fight Jackson for the Title

What's wrong with what I said? My point is that Jardine is in the picture, and in the running for a title shot with a win. Which he would be? I'm not saying he'd get the very next title shot, hence the wording 'has the chance of a title shot'

Alexander on the other hand isn't, despite his devastating KO of Jardine.

-Mauricio "Shogun" Rua
-Chuck Liddell
-Jon Fitch
-Kazuhiro Nakamura vs. Lyoto Machida (not sure)
-Thiago Tavares

Should be good stuff!

Yes but what makes him close to a title shot? Yes he beat Jardine which was a huge upset. But if you wanted to then test him you wouldnt put him in against a ex professional boxer! you would put him in with a ground specialist.

Prior to his Jardine win he has done nothing special. He lost to Jason Medina then beat the following fighters (note their records)

Jamie Webb: 6 - 23 - 0 (Win - Loss - Draw)
Chuck Purdow: 0 - 1 - 0 (Win - Loss - Draw)
Justin Butler: 1 - 1 - 0 (Win - Loss - Draw)
Brandon Quigley: 7 - 27 - 0 (Win - Loss - Draw)
Demian Decorah: 17 - 24 - 0 (Win - Loss - Draw)
Jon Murphy: 4 - 2 - 0 (Win - Loss - Draw)
No contect with Todd Allee: 1 - 0 - 0 (Win - Loss - Draw) ( 1 NC )

He has never won a fight by submission and his only loss came by a submission. Looking at his record and opponants it was obvious he was brought in to lose but by winning in an upsat and then against a strictly pro boxer he does not deserve to be anywhere near a title fight yet.

Before Jardine he hadnt fount a single guy in the top 30 and most his opponants had primerially losing records in the smaller shows!

He has a long way to go before getting a title shot.

Wouldnt you agree from this?

Anyone going to watch Cage Rage on Sky Sports 3 tonight at 9pm?

Nice warmup till tomorrow nights UFC event.
