UFC 81

Second that, he was on fire! great fight.

Personally I was quite happy to see Lesnar lose, took a disliking to him for some reason.

How is everyone here watching it anyway? Do you need the paid sports channels to watch it on sky??

Nope we get it free on Bravo :).

aye was a good event in the end. lesnar looks like he could do some dasmage but needs some coaching etc i think.

but yea enjoyable lots of decent fights, too many adverts.

The fight that most interested me was the Heath Vs. Boetsch match. Boetsch looked like no pushover and boy did he showed style in the ring. I look to seeing Boetsch in the future.

Just watched that myself, slow start but what an ending.

Boestch look like he'll be a real force to be reckoned with in the future.

Reminds me of Bas Rutten, very sharp powerful shots and reliant on big knee attacks.

I hope UFC doesn't turn into a panto with too many wrestlers coming into the "sport".

Another thing, wrestlers are well known for taking steroids, is there regular drugs testing in UFC?

I'd like to point out that WWE has a strict drug taking policy now, and have tried to stamp it out in recent years - what with the latest influx of recent drug related wrestling deaths in years.

That said, yes the UFC do have drug policies.

As far as I'm aware they do testing during the lead up, before and after fights.

Theres been a few cases where fighters have been suspended from MMA for breaking those policies, Josh Barnett and Tim Syliva have both been stripped of their World titles for testing positive for anabolic steroids after a fight.

i think in about 6 months time with more practice lesnar could be a real good fighter - i read on some website that lesnar could be fighting in Ufc 85 - i hope so

what i dont understand is why they doi not have compulsory drug testing for each fighter before and after each fight?

its not like there are leagues and leagues to worry about the officiation etc, just 1 event and like 10 fighters every month, not that difficult to manage, and it would elimininate the steroids/painkiller abuse i would have thought...
