It's funny, if you go to Australia you'll find that Ugg boots are a generic name for sheepskin boots (it's not a trademark, anyone can call their boots "ugg boots") and very few people will buy the "official" ones as they are extremely expensive and made in China. You can get much better quality, Aussie made boots, for less.Hey all, just wondered if anyone could recommend some genuine sites to buy these from, as the g/f wants a pair for her b'day. I know there are a lot of fake sites around so I want to make sure she gets the real deal, otherwise I'll be in for it!Thanks!

My misses got some, I used to hate them aswell but I don't think they're too bad now.
Anyway make sure she tries them on in a shop first as the sizing is different to normal and she'll probably want a size smaller then she normally takes.

I wear Converse sometimes, but mix and match the colours on each foot, or other fairly sensible shoes, and heels when im going out

In cold weather I grant you they could be great, but girls wearing them in mini skirts in the summer is just rediculouse.
