Uh Oh... Bad EA

I like to get away from mainstream society and all its advertisements and pushy sales pitches when playing games not apply for more.

But will you be happy spending £70+ on a game in a few years time?

The more realistic a game is the more it costs to produce. This is why big companies like EA are taking over all the small studios. Small studios can not afford to produce graphically realistic games. The problem is exponential as well as the speed of development is all ways increasing.
 
It's actually a really good idea in my opinion. Free games powered by advertising revenue (that aren't even ingame according to the article). If this goes all, EA could be onto a winner, and the industry as a whole could be onto something new.

I think it's fair to say that adverts will most likely find their way in-game at some point, even if it isn't part of the original release. I say this with regards to the fact that it is already being done and I doubt EA will want to miss out on additional revenue.
