UIScene - Unreal 3

Hey Guys

im pretty new to all this so forgive me if i've done somethin n00bishly wrong

I'm tryin to set up a UIscene that displays some text onscreen and has a voice recording in the background like a narrator

I've got the text set up and set the scene to display for 8 seconds on the level start in kismet before closing again. Adding the audio for the voice works fine if i connect it up to the scene open command in kismet

the problem is, when you press escape to skip the text, the audio continues to play until its finished. To try and get round this i set the audio to play on the scene open event in the UI sequence's global sequence list in kismet but it just wont play from there at all

has anyone got any ideas on this?
