im just starting out in the whole website business, and im looking for a good reliable uk based webhosting company. does anyone have any recommendations for me?

The majority of people here are going to point you to vidahost and/or tsohost. They will do this for all the right reasons. You'd do well to listen to them.

Vidahost I have used and can recommend from experience, TSOHost have lots of good reviews and happy campers here as well
