I recently moved to namecheap from tsohost. tsohost still don't have MFA, so I had to do it... namecheap also has the added benefit of DNSSEC support, which works nicely with 1984.is DNSI use namecheap. Seems much of a muchness, never had an issue.
Only issue with name cheap is the ever increasing price, but not sure how much of that is them.
Same here. I was with Namecheap for about 5 or so years and they were fine but Porkbun is just so much easier to use. Using their search tool to find free domain names is so much faster and the technical support is decent.I'll always vouch for Porkbun for domains.
It’s been updated but regardless, the process is fast and clutter free.I have used 123reg in the past. Not a fan. The user interface is shockingly 90s.
Really expensive, .uk is £12 and .com £18 which is silly when it's £4 and £5-7 elsewhere, and as someone said, their UI is naff.Just use 123reg...
Can't fault Porkbun, especially if you've got a currency fee free type card to bill to (pay in USD) as it makes them one of the cheapest for the usual TLD's outside of Cloudflare.I'll always vouch for Porkbun for domains.
I've used, Manchester based, m247 for years. They seem very goodHi,
Does anyone have any recommendations for UK based domain registrars?
Or do you just use the US companies? Any disadvantages of doing that?
Thanks.
