Uk laws?

Thats just about court services. I dont understand why something so important is so hard to find, it should be easily avalible online to anyone in the uk.

Is there something specific you're looking for? With something as vague as "the law" you'll probably need to narrow it down slightly I would imagine.

You'd be better off searching for a specific act of parliament if you know what you're after.

There are a ridiculously large number of laws both civil and criminal that cater for pretty much every situation imaginable.

It depends what law you are looking for, generally if you know what act it comes under, you can find the act on the parliament website by googling.

geez.........you won't find a book with them all on, it's just too much information. What are you after?

There are 2 kinds of law, common law and statutues, so it's not written on the same book and since it began in the a few hundred years ago its not reprinted every year. Go to any university and look for the law library, that'll give you an idea of the books you need.

p.s. any internet service that has all the info are subscription only. ie, westlaw, lexisnexis, lawtel ...etc

I don't think you quite get what "the law" is - it's not in a big book, "UK Law, 306th Edition 2006", it's all over the place.
