Aye, not as good as last weekend, they were all about full 7.2mb last weekend, i was getting my full 6mbs then.

Anyone have weird speed things going on?

Such as downloading at 270kb/s, then going up to 370kb/s, then back down to 270?

Example:

Thats all on the same file, with no other downloads starting or stopping, any ideas?

p.s. i've just had the BEST idea ever!! it wont happen, but get this! How kool would it be if UKFSN opened a new pipe just for gamers!

They're great as it is, i get killer ping with them on week days, evan now on tele house 1 i'm getting great ping. But if they made 1 of the 2 pipes they're opening later just for gaming, imagine the pings you'd get!

And downloaders would be happy aswell with the other 5 pipes! Evan tho i'm a downloader my self, who also games lol.

I should put this great idea forward! :cool:

The anti-packet loss tool is for this sole reason. By the end of June Enta will have 5 pipes for gamers which you share with down loaders who get a "worse deal". Aka good pings and a equal share of bandwidth that is more than enough for gaming.

the only reason i migrated to UKFSN was that it was touted as an isp for D/lers....(like me

It's still good for downloaders. You're just limited to a minimum of 2Mb connection for a couple of hours while everyone downloads as much as they can. Tbh. It more averages out what you download at as there is still the same amount of bandwidth available to download at the same speed on any port.

as i can only get a max of 3.3..... on a good day
still today i have been struggling to get over 25k

hope it picks up overnight/tomorrow,weekends is the only time we can feely overindulge

you have to pay a £5 fine and you pay for the next package above what you subscribed for

i know happened to me last month....my first month too

only 1.3 gig over peak time :mad:

Really good.

I'm on the 30 peak and I don't even get close, though I consider myself a "heavy" user. No shaping, good speeds. Always nice and fast.
