There was a stage near my house today so I went down and tried taking a few shots. I haven't tried taking photos of moving cars before so most are crap. He's the one I liked most though (and it was the first one I took!).

I'll upload a gallery later on.

C&C would be greatly appreciated.

Good picture that, although could do with a touch of brightening as the colours seem a little dull.

LOL at the toyota ad on the back of that evo though :D

I was going to then I couldn't be arsed. The same stage is on tomorrow at 2pm, so hopefully it'll be a better day and I'll get some better pictures.

Uploading the rest now. I've actually found a couple of other good ones, out of the 365 I took :D

Okay some more:

Quite like this one too. Pity i'm not focused into the car enough..

i think the composition on the car shots is good. maybe just tweak them abit, stuff like colour and contrast
what camera are you using?

Panasonic DMC-FZ7. It's a friends. I borrowed it so I could get used to all the features (shutter speed etc). I've only had it 2 days so I don't think i'm doing too badly. I've been using manual focus, shutter and aperture. Not quite sure of what they mean just yet but I've got a ruff idea.

lol i was at the same place. What day was this?

Day one, if so i didn't get many at that stage because of the rain. Was a little disappointed tbh

which camera are you using teaboy5?

Is there a website you guys use to find out when and where rallys are being held?

I was using a 350d with a 70-200 F4 L for them shots

And no, the Ulster Rally is a big event in armagh, as it brings drivers in from all over the UK and the EU; so you cant miss it

Yeah day 1 as well. I live about 200 metres down the road so couldn't not go. Love your pictures. Far better than mine.

I was on the wall for a while too. Who ever lives there doesn't have much of it left though :D

Was that today? If I'd have known I'd have been down with the camera.

Where abouts was that?

Armagh, and it was Friday + Saturday just.

I know, the best thing is that every year he complains about people standing on his grass :p. I live near by myself, just on the hammy bawn road
