Ultima Panther - Performance Checking Software

This is my first true post here so "Hello Everyone"

I have just purchased that monster machine the Ultima Panther, I know I will be in the bad books with some of you already for not building it myself but hopefully I will learn a lot from this and be ready to build my next rig.

I am expecting to receive the rig any day now and was just wondering what programmes I should use to ensure that it is stable and everything is in tip top condition.

I also what to test its performance I know that the 3D Mark is a well renowned piece of software, is there any others which will push this kit to the max

Prime95 is a popular one for stress testing.. http://www.mersenne.org/freesoft/#newusers

And as you mentioned 3D mark would probably be the top choice for everything else.

Another one to try is Intel Burn Test.

I'd go with IBT tbh, none of the other benchmarks/tests even went close to the temps IBT could push my e8400 to
