Ultimate Force (last night)

Yeah , he was reffering to the episode of extras where Kemp sent himself up brilliantly.
Your the second person to miss this :)

Oh aye? Don't watch extra's so that's my excuse! :o

I love the way they so obviously have no military advisors when filming.
Im no soldier but the amount of times you see them walking down streets side by side or waiting in wide open spaces is hilarious.

Way. Way. Way. Edited post to properly conduct humour of the post.

I fully believe you, as i am aware of the complete awfullness of Ultimate Farce.

I couldnt watch it after the one in the last series where they were in africa or something and there are 4 of them holding off a whole division of African soldiers.
Kemp was so super solid he didnt even bother with the GPMG they had, he just opened up on them with his M16 on single shot.

That and when they got shot at with a RPG and hiding behind some plant pots saved them from the red hot flying shrapnel.

Not sure if i'm just being too cynical or maybe it just shows how much TV i watch but the daughters, their acting was awful. Sure they may be children but seeing shows like Byker Grove/Grange Hill, the talent on there is incredible. Wonder why they couldn't have got better child actresses.

As for the show itself, just mindless explosions and 'manly' saturday night TV.

Dammit all these spoilers, I've not watched it yet :P

Lucky you!

I really doubt they would send the SAS to recover two children. I think the police would be issued the task.

The amount of times I saw a barrel point at an oppo was terrible and it breaks all SOPs to travel at day.

I also noticed the poor footage of the hercules taking off which was obviously taken from some 1960s archive.

The SAS are primarliy a reconnaissance group, not a police force :/

Watched and it was like watching some rubbish afternoon movie. Cliché ridden rubbish. Exactly what we men want to watch on Saturday ;)

I think its great, have still got last nights episode to watch. I've seen all the other series and loved them. What more could you want in a TV program.. Guns, death, shooting, explosions, the SAS and Grant Mitchell! Its got it all:)

Did you ignore all the dialouge? They explained exactly why the SAS were sent, how do you think the police would have dealt with it?

Turned up in a Ford Focus squad car and said Right lads, your all nicked?

Yea thats a great way of covertly avoiding a huge diplomatic incident.

Either way, the program stinks of cheese and is soooo unrealistic for what seems like an action drama.

It doesn't deserve a Saturday night slot IMO.
