Awesome setup :)

Gotta get me a place in the US with space for all this, I have my home cinema crammed into a little room at present and it just seems a crime :(

what i don't get is why are people so angry at him?

why does anyone care if this guy spends his money on this stuff, its there to appreciate if you like games and arcade memorabilia, don't want to be rude but if your just here to laugh at the guy (stfu) and leave the thread?


also while your sat typing the negative comments about the guy not having a life think about the fact that your on an overclocking forum, typing on your pc, sat in your bedroom ;)

at least this guy's stood up :p


@ EQDruid, great setup. i agree the flashy lights do seem OTT but in the uk we are a bit dull and like reserved style, i still totally get why you have gone for a fun feel but as soon as i saw the projector screen i thought 'thats more like it! :D' once you get into the pj everything will get moved onto it hehe

I try to be different, I grew up on the wrong side of the tracks, and was always afraid to enter someone else's home and not to be able to touch anything. I like to think that anyone that enters my home, feels at home.

Yes, it's done velvet curtains, ect. going thru some medical problems with myself, atm. all my electrical career has left me with a lot of back pain. Too much showing off in my young years, tring to prove myself...

Waiting for my wife to get home to take me to the hospital....

In a lot of pain atm.....

EQDruid - May I ask how you turn it all on? Is everything usually on at once or do you pick and choose depending on what you fancy doing?

Must be a lot of plugs somewhere!
 
Are there not issues concerning copyright ownership Re the games? - The earlier vids say you have thousands of games - surely you can't have purchased that many?

Kinda beat here, I have a lower disk out in my back and doc placed me on some heavy meds... Will take a new Video of the theater room and post it for you tomorrow =)

Thanks for all the kind words from most of you, means a lot. And speaking of new builds, built a I7 990X computer with 24 TB of storage for my Hyperspin set up / media server. Over 9k Movies converted to 720p. I can stream all the movies over my home netwrk to any PS3, or Ipad in my house flawlessly... Its sweet in the theater room.

Done that in the past so I know how much it hurts :( What media front end are you using? I'm quite a fan of mediaportal.

Wow how much did that cost? 24TB of storage and 9k movies, do you download literally every movie that's on torrents sites or something? haha that's crazy.

How much did that computer cost, aswell as the theatre room?

I would love to have a games and theatre room like you when I've got a big house.
 
Thanks for the updates, iyour posts and projects are one of the main reasons i've built / currently building my Pinball and Mame cabinets.
