well i dont have any audio... at all

just built system... install all the drivers etc... drivers on mobo cd wouldnt install (audio ones)

HD sound is on in the mobo etc

not sure why there isnt any...

and yes i;ve tried plugging my speakers in / headphones / sisters speakers / all the speakers i can find... still nothing

even tho vista says the volumes right up

If the drivers won't install, that's probably the reason. I woud try going to the mobo manufacturer's site & getting some newer ones. Perhaps the one's on the cd are 32 bit / xp drivers. Also, if it's like the Am2 then I guess you have a combined 'forceware' mobo, audio, usb driver. Try the latest from nvidia's site.

have you tried downloading the latest vista drivers for your mobo?

[edit]just beaten to it :p[/edit]

cant find any audio drivers for my mobo that are vista

have the lastest ones for mobo installed.. the audio ones were seperate on the cd provided (useless as its xp)

been there :) they just offer same ones already on the CD :( XP :( which dont install at all

are you absolutely certain about that?

I followed the wizard steps after the "download drivers" link,

mainboard->EVGAxxx.xxxUltra->Vista 64

gave me the following link

there's also a Vista 32 option

??

[edit]
