Ultramon vs Hydravision

Ok been using Hydravision since getting my new VX2025.

Everyone on the forum recommends Ultramon so i thought I'd give the trial a go.

So far so good, I actually like the extended taskbar etc.

Anyways I wanted to ask do I still need Hydravision installed?

Also wanted to ask what extra features apart from the taskbar foes ultramon bring?

OK, so I havent used Hydravision, only Ultramon.

Ultramon can do the following:

1) Lets you expand a single window accross all the screens

2) Puts a button in the top right over every window that lets you pick which screen to display it on.

3) Smart Taskbar which you found...

4) Wallpaper: The ability to pick a different wall paper for each screen, and manipulate the way it is displayed, also lets you use one wallpaper accross all screens.

Im sure there is more, but I cant remeber them at the moment.

It is a good product, I use it on my three screen system at work, the Smart Taskbar alone sold it for me.

i use ultramon with my tft and PJ. i like it especially cos of the profiles.

ive got 3 profiles set up, 1 for the TFT alone, 1 for the TFT and the PJ together (PJ being just a secondary monitor, great for movin media player or dvd software across to watch them on) and 1 more for games, bascially sets the TFT as a secondary montiro and the PJ as a primary monitor so all games start up on the PJ

very handy :)
