If you're happy with 144hz and the price go with the 49" I had an OLED G9 but eventually the lack of height on the monitor annoyed me (gaming reasons) but I've not had a better monitor for multi tasking. Just find out if it's a gen 2 panel perhaps as the Samsungs could be in a similar price range with 240hzYes, I noticed that Very tempting.
Also tempted by the 49 inch gigabyte oled for £729
Anyone got any insight on the 49 inch Electriq? The 1440p model can be had for £499. Seems a good price for a 49 inch. Budget brand though I know.
I'm just a bit nervy about using an oled for desktop work.
I'm definitely leaning towards a 49 inch. Just whether I go for the gigabyte oled or an LCD, I don't know.Phillips over that all day.
In that case I'll have a look aroundI'm definitely leaning towards a 49 inch. Just whether I go for the gigabyte oled or an LCD, I don't know.
Would love an oled. My TV is a 65 inch 4k LG and it's fantastic, but for desktop use, I don't know.In that case I'll have a look around

I'd probably say 32" is maximum I'd want for 16:9.
Yeah this is a common answer, I on the other hand am happy to go to 65" and be 2-4ft away
I have a 65" TV, I wouldn't sit that close.
Can't go cheaper than what you shared I guess, but I'd want 5120x1440I love the ultrawide screen format though. My current 34 inch is great. Would love to go super ultrawide
The Electriq I was looking at is 5120x1440Can't go cheaper than what you shared I guess, but I'd want 5120x1440
edit = maybe this = XEXUL49V2 49" Curved Gaming Monitor – Ultrawide IPS 1440p 144Hz 1ms USB-C Built-in Speakers
Ah ok, then that's worth a punt I guess, as long as you can return it no issues if you're not happy with it : )The Electriq I was looking at is 5120x1440
I see there is a lower Res one too.
Model is eiq-495KCSUW144IPS which is an IPS panel. There is a 1440p VA version too.Ah ok, then that's worth a punt I guess, as long as you can return it no issues if you're not happy with it : )
