If you're happy with 144hz and the price go with the 49" I had an OLED G9 but eventually the lack of height on the monitor annoyed me (gaming reasons) but I've not had a better monitor for multi tasking. Just find out if it's a gen 2 panel perhaps as the Samsungs could be in a similar price range with 240hzYes, I noticed that

Anyone got any insight on the 49 inch Electriq? The 1440p model can be had for £499. Seems a good price for a 49 inch. Budget brand though I know.

I'm definitely leaning towards a 49 inch. Just whether I go for the gigabyte oled or an LCD, I don't know.

Would love an oled. My TV is a 65 inch 4k LG and it's fantastic, but for desktop use, I don't know.

They can be very good as monitors as well (Used a 55" OLED as a monitor) and was very happy with it, but other people aren't big fans of that use case and think it's too big, you'd have to decide for yourself on that one. I personally think you get better value from the TV than the monitor choices except the lack of DP and refresh rates above 144hz.

I'd probably say 32" is maximum I'd want for 16:9.

Yeah this is a common answer, I on the other hand am happy to go to 65" and be 2-4ft away

Ah ok, then that's worth a punt I guess, as long as you can return it no issues if you're not happy with it : )
Model is eiq-495KCSUW144IPS which is an IPS panel. There is a 1440p VA version too.
Just came here looking for the same info. I've currently got an older LG ultrawide that I've had for about 8 years, but the low refresh rate is a bit jarring compared to the monitor I use in work. I use my PC at home for a mix of work/photos/gaming and am hesitant going OLED as I want something that will last another 8 years or so. Really tempted to go for the 34GN850P as it looks like a jump up from my screen, just a shame it's an older model.
