Umm... which Don do I need to notify about this?

I have had a deal on MM which I am not happy with... and left negative feedback. I have just now got calls to my mobile from said member swearing and shouting and ranting about "disrespecting" him and "messing with him" and he sas "it's ****ing on now big man", and basically pretty damn threatening behaviour.

Who do I get in touch with specifically to sort this out? He's calling form a private number and if he keeps ringing tonight im going to get in touch with the police and get them to trace the calls. He's also left a threatening answerphone message on my mobile too saying he will keep calling me back multiple times.

As I just type this he has just called my home number and ranted at my father too...

What do I need to do to sort this?

EDIT EDIT - He has just rung my house again and hung up when my dad answered.

Not sure I want to... i'm worried he may keep ringing my house and hassle my dad, who has enough on his plate at the moment. Last thing he needs is some guy going mad at him down the phone.
 
Absolutley, name and shame so we can avoid trading with them. Don't phone the police yet as they won't do anything until you contact your phone providor who'll be able to point you in the right direction (probably the nuisance/malicious calls bureau)

Pick a moderator who is showing as online - i'm sure they will pass it on.

Name and shame is not the way to go - that'd only end up with more problems (and probably for you for breaking the rules of forum or similar).

I'd suggest emailing a Don and tell them the situation, they will then probably suspend the member.

If he rings up again, just tell him you will report him to the Police, threatening phone calls are illegal.

I tried Werewolfs email in trust earlier today and got no reply... so wasn't sure who to direct it to or if the addy was still used.

Get in contact with Yewen he's usually around.

I wouldn't take the name and shame route yet.
 
I second that, Yewen is usually quite easy to get hold of.

On the subject of Dons, when did you retire from Donship Minstadave?

Have a look which MM dons are online, then add them to msn. You'll get a much faster response.

I don't intend to... he's just emailed me now and it seems like he's calmed down a bit but goodness grief... if that's how he flips out over something like this...

I'll bring this up in the Dons Room.

I'll close this thread now, best to keep all the info to yourself and the MM Don dealing with it until it is resolved.
