un-core clocking

my 4690k is at 4.5Ghz with vcore at 1.25 un-core is at 4.3Ghz and ring voltage is also at 1.25 if I try for any more on the un core it frezzes during boot up but runs really stable where its at the now and that's on air max temps are around 62c under stress test with realbench

Yep just droped it on the MM and its gone lol. on payday al get the last 2 things for my x99 system.

the CPU block was an xspc raystorm. i have just before listing for sale refitted the IHS but not tested temps. i would think al still be around the 70's under load but thats fine for an overclock.

Gaming my 5960x has never come close to 70 mate, you will likely be closer to 55-60 gaming with new cpu after overclock.

My 5820k is much cooler than my previous 4790k. 64c max on the former at 4.5 on 1.300v. 75c max on the latter, 4.7 on 1.300. The advantages of using solder over paste on the die. Same cooler and fans on both chips.

I don't know about Gigabyte but my board has min and max settings for both the cpu cores and the cpu cache so mine are both set to min= 8x and max= 44x. That way they both vary according to load.
