OBJECTIVE 7:
Address and reduce vulnerabilities in migration
23. We commit to respond to the needs of migrants who face situations of vulnerability, which may arise from the circumstances in which they travel or the conditions they face in countries of origin, transit and destination, by assisting them (yes providing official 'assistance' to migrants will definetly reduce the numbers coming into the West /s) and protecting their human rights, in accordance with our obligations under international law. We further commit to uphold the best interests of the child at all times, as a primary consideration in situations where children are concerned, (the 'best interests' of migrant children, taken in isolation, is pretty much always going to be to immediately transit then to a rich western country [along with the adults with them who may or may not be the parents they purport to be] and provide then with the best services money can afford.... Can't see how such a policy might just spectacularly backfire with it totally not massively incentivising people to drag children [their own or someone else's] along on dangerous trips to guarantee a more prefrable outcome Should they be able to reach their desired destination country) and to apply a gender-responsive approach in addressing vulnerabilities, including in responses to mixed movements.
To realize this commitment, we will draw from the following actions:
a) Review relevant policies and practices to ensure they do not create, exacerbate or
unintentionally increase vulnerabilities of migrants, including by applying a human rights-
based, gender- and disability-responsive, as well as an age- and child-sensitive approach
b) Establish comprehensive policies and develop partnerships that provide migrants in a
situation of vulnerability, regardless of their migration status, ('regardless of their migration status' is globalist waffle which really means including flat-out illegal migrants) with necessary support at all stages of migration, through identification and assistance (why exactly would we want to provide 'support' to illegal migrants?) , as well as protection of their human rights, in particular in cases related to women at risk, (why do women get a 'in particular' qualification? Are the UN a bunch or sexist white knights who think women are frail who need special protection? Didn't they get the memo about sex differences being social constructs? Note it doesn't say women accompanying children but just 'women' children are listed separately as the paragraph continues..... ) in particular' children, especially those unaccompanied or separated from their families, members of ethnic and religious minorities, victims of violence, including sexual and gender-based violence, older persons, persons with disabilities, persons who are discriminated against on any basis, indigenous peoples, workers facing exploitation and abuse, domestic workers, victims of trafficking in persons, and migrants subject to exploitation and abuse in the context of smuggling of migrants
