Does the queue position relate to just my specific model or all EVGA XC3s in general?

Just got my queue email for Eagle 3080, position 1,152 - I ordered and paid on 17/09 at 15:20, but only received my order confirmation email today (hopefully my queue position is based on when I placed the order and not today!).

Putting my order number (now that I finally have it) into the unofficial tracker put me at 3,643, FWIW.

Ouch that sounds like it was today to me , I ordered at 14:32 and am at 58th In the queue, I doubt there was 3400+ orders in the hour between our orders .

Do you think we'll ever get any indication of what these numbers mean in terms of wait? In my head i thought i'd get one before Nov 15thth as that is essentially two months, now i don't think there is much hope.

In my position (coming from a 980TI), if the 3080s wont be out this year maybe im better off canceling and getting a second hand 2080TI or similar and then sitting it out until the 3080TI or next gen. At least then i'll be able to play Cyberpunk at launch. Really not sure though.
