In my position (coming from a 980TI), if the 3080s wont be out this year maybe im better off canceling and getting a second hand 2080TI or similar and then sitting it out until the 3080TI or next gen. At least then i'll be able to play Cyberpunk at launch. Really not sure though.

This is kinda the problem. People wanted queue information (rightly so) and now we get it. Problem is there's no context unless we know how many cards they are getting shipped. The email says it will update after each shipment so hopefully everyone will get at least 2 emails a week and increasing as time goes on.

They won't be able to give us any other context as they won't know what they are getting too far ahead and estimates will be taken as in blood promises so I don't really see what else OCUK can do honestly.

It has to be just the type of card you ordered or the number would be meaningless (not just brand but model too).

Big oof, just got mine. 3090 Strix OC. Queue position 364. With the Asus delays on producition and the position I have now resigned myself that it will be a 2021 present to myself and see it is a great sign it will be a better year than 2020.

The only thing I would take over this is a FE so will keep an eye every thursday as seems when re-stocked. Other than that happy to wait. I had a TUF OC in a basket elsewhere and confirmed at 14:02 but cancelled as decided I couldn't bring myself to have the lower spec (if even negligible) card. Just love the look of the FE and the EKWB block for it looks amazing. IMO.

Just got the queue email.
Am in position 5 for the Palit GeForce RTX 3090 Gaming Pro.
But as people say, that doesn't really mean much unless we have indication of how many come in on shipments, and the frequency of shipments.

I'm assuming the position in the Q is for the specific card that we ordered and not just the position for the 3080 in general?

Yep, I am in queue position 339. I didn't order till 23:30 on the launch day so were you after me?

Yep also wondering that, as that is a lot of cards to ship before they get to mine. Doesn't seem to say anywhere particularly/
