Unable to get to 4.9ghz?

The OP can consider all the advice given and choose to accept or ignore it.

Just like I can choose whether or not I feel it's necessary to give someone advice further than that which they asked for. Yet for some reason here you are attacking me for making it.

Let's be honest, this is about the fact that you are a little annoyed that I have pulled someone up for claiming 1.46v is unsafe. You also think this to be true, and since I have debunked your "evidence", you're now turning tail and having a go at me for something entirely unrelated. Pathetic.

I'm sure you'll have some smart remark to make to this, and one which will be as irrelevant as the rest of your posting in this thread. You're welcome to continue this with yourself now:).

I've been out and only just had chance to read this last post.

I think anyone reading the thread can tell by the tone of your posts that you're the one who's annoyed.

Since i have no idea of the board, just a shot in the dark that LLC level 5 is the lowest LLC setting on Asrock boards, in case its an Asrock.

For what it's worth, MSI recommend not going over 1.4 for vcore as there is a warning message in the overclocking bit of the bios. They're probably being careful but I do wonder where they got the figure of 1.4 from.

My 2600k takes 1.43 in bios to get stable at 4.8
with PLL over voltage enabled

I did read somewhere that someone had to increase the VIOO voltage or the other one similar to get above 4.8.

try googling 2600k 4.9, I think thats what I did when I read it

If you google it
