Unable to overclock second GPU.

This is for 2 4830s (crossfire disabled)

Independently using rivatuner I can overclock the first card to 700/1000 but just can't touch the second card.

Most confusing of all is that the second card is overclocked to 625/1000 and is not stock.

ps I won't be using crossfire and both cards will be used for distributed computing, hence the reason for independent clock speeds.

Any ideas or is there a tool I can download to inspect my set up ?

Yes, but mixing drivers is asking for trouble but not entirely impossible.
